NORA LILITH RELEASES HAUNTINGLY INTIMATE EP “STORIES IN FLESH”
Nora Lilith unveils her self-written, self-produced, and self-released EP, Stories In Flesh—a project that exudes sleek sophistication despite its roots in personal trauma. Describing it as “an anthology of stories centered on themes of somatics, memory, and transformation,” Nora sees the EP as a journey of returning to the body and a sense of wholeness.
Her introspective songwriting and production seamlessly intertwine, though the EP’s strong themes emerged organically. “This project came together naturally,” she explains. “The tracks and ideas accumulated over years as momentary expressions of similar themes that, in retrospect, formed a cohesive whole.”
Among the standout tracks, Now Or Never was praised by Clash Music for its raw emotion, while Flesh was hailed by The Luna Collective as “a striking exploration of the tension between pain and pleasure.”
Born between Berlin and Austin, avant-garde newcomer Nora Lilith channels her own experiences of movement and contrast into her music. A lifelong singer, she taught herself Ableton, embracing an unconventional production style that incorporates field recordings and manipulated vocals to craft immersive, textured soundscapes. With Stories In Flesh, she continues to push sonic boundaries, instrumentalizing her own creative naivety to forge a distinct and deeply personal sound.
