MATILDA MANN UNVEILS NEW SINGLE ‘DAZED & CONFUSED’

Today, rising singer-songwriter Matilda Mann releases “Dazed & Confused,” a warm and introspective track that serves as the latest preview of her forthcoming debut album, Roxwell. Known for her ability to blend folk intimacy with pop sensibilities, Mann’s honeyed vocals glide over soft drums and jazz-infused melodies. A video for the single is set to follow soon.

Reflecting on the track, Mann shares, “‘Dazed & Confused’ was the last song written for Roxwell. After we wrote it, we experimented with the structure—starting with the chorus, adding a key change, and fading the song out. It’s one of my favorites because it feels so warm and comforting, like the lyrics we wrote.”

Her debut album, Roxwell, is deeply personal, chronicling love, self-discovery, and the bittersweet transitions of adulthood. The album’s lyrics—witty, reflective, and layered with meaning—paint an intimate portrait of Mann’s journey.

Speaking about the record, Mann says, “This is my debut album. Every song feels like a part of me. It explores love in all its forms, growing up, and reflecting on what we can’t change. Some songs were written subconsciously and became clear only when I needed to face my feelings. It’s terrifying to share, but I’m incredibly proud.”
