PROBLEM PATTERNS RELEASE NEW SINGLE ‘I’M FINE AND I’M DOING GREAT’

Belfast DIY feminist queerpunk quartet Problem Patterns have announced a new EP, Boring Songs For Boring People, set for release on 12th September 2025 via Alcopop! Records.

To mark the occasion, the band have dropped lead single I’m Fine and I’m Doing Great, available now on all major streaming platforms. Recorded, mixed, and mastered by Niall Doran at Start Together Studios in Belfast, the single is accompanied by an official video directed by band member Alanah Smith and filmed by Aileen McKenna.

Bassist Ciara King describes the track as “an ode to every single burnout episode that any creative has ever had. It’s important to break the fourth wall sometimes and say, ‘this is really hard, isn’t it? You can be exhausted and still love your craft. This one goes out to all our burnt out pals. Keep going.”

Formed in 2018, Problem Patterns are known for their rotating roles, raw energy, and radical lyrics. Made up of Alanah, Bethany, Bev, and Ciara, the group blend punk fury with humour, heart, and a mission to shout about what matters—loudly.
