SIRENS OF LESBOS RELEASE NEW SINGLE ‘CALL ME BACK’
Swiss music duo Sirens of Lesbos, led by sisters Jasmina and Nabyla Serag, unveil their latest single, Call Me Back, featuring Drake-endorsed rapper SadBoi and Nigerian viral sensation Kabusa Oriental Choir. Released today, the track masterfully blends afrobeats-inspired rhythms with elements of pop, R&B, and orchestral flair, creating a bold and genre-defying anthem that nods to the sisters’ Eritrean and Sudanese heritage.
“The song is really about longing for a second chance and forgiveness,” Jasmina explains. “It all started with a beat that incorporated telephone sounds, which inspired the hook’s lyrics.” The result is a vibrant, emotionally resonant piece that showcases the duo’s exceptional songwriting and production.
Continuing their tradition of dynamic collaborations—previously with artists like JID, Bootsy Collins, and Erick The Architect—Sirens of Lesbos reached out to SadBoi and Kabusa Oriental Choir after being captivated by their respective tracks, Potential and So So. “We contacted them through Instagram, and they both said yes immediately,” Nabyla shares.
For the first time, the sisters entrusted the mix to LA-based multi-platinum engineer David Nakaji, known for his work with Kaytraminé and Kehlani, adding an extra layer of polish to their vision.
Already making waves, Sirens of Lesbos have been named one of The Great Escape Festival’s prestigious FIRST FIFTY acts for 2025, cementing their status as emerging global talents. The festival performance is set for May, where the duo will bring their boundary-pushing sound to a live audience.
